Music Lessons With Hana
Hana is an experienced musician, (piano teacher, vocal coach, performer, composer and songwriter) with over 25 years of experience across solo performance, musical theatre and ensemble direction.
Hana has worked extensively as a private music teacher and vocal coach, supporting students of all ages and abilities to develop confidence, technical foundations and their own authentic musical voice. Her approach combines healthy vocal and instrumental technique with creativity, expression and a strong emphasis on making music enjoyable and meaningful.
Alongside her private teaching, Hana has worked as a vocal and ensemble director for over a decade, including 10 years as Vocal and Musical Director of Melbourne-based a cappella group The Rubies. She has also worked with organisations including Creativity Australia, the Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM), the Australian Children’s Choir and most recently as Vocal Director for Tauranga Musical Theatre’s 2026 production of Wicked.
Hana is an award-winning composer and singer-songwriter with three album releases, and continues to write, record and perform her own music. Her experience as an artist informs her teaching, helping students develop not only technical skills, but confidence as creative musicians and performers.
She is passionate about helping students discover what makes music uniquely theirs, whether they are learning for enjoyment, preparing for performance, developing their songwriting, or pursuing music as a career.
